Home Instead has taken care of my mom over the last five years as she has needed various levels of care. The staff are all so great - caring, compassionate, flexible, kind. It's so challenging caring for an elder parent and it's so wonderful to have help from Home Instead.
For more than two years, Home Instead South Vancouver has provided support for my somewhat infirm older brother that has enabled him to continue to live safely and in good health independently. In addition to assisting him with personal care, medications, dressing, mobility, and cleaning and laundry, Home Instead caregivers have accompanied him on medical appointments—arranging transportation, preparing him for travel, interacting with medical staff as needed, and (importantly!) taking notes. I would highly recommend Home Instead to people looking for caregivers to assist their elderly parents. Five stars all the way! This is the second time we have hired their services and my mom was well taken care of again. They assisted her to the bathroom, cooked, cleaned , kept moms personal hygiene up and kept her company through out the day. Once again, a big thank you to the crew of caregivers from Home Instead.
The Home Instead team stepped to help my mother on very short notice. Her caregivers were kind and pleasant, so I knew my mother was in good hands. And when she had to go to the hospital they were very flexible. Thank you!
I appreciate the caregivers from Homeinstead who came and spent time with my Mom. They were thoughtful, compassionate, and knowledgeable in their skills of caring for my Mom. We found them to become an incredible support to her especially as she dealt with dementia.
