My son is in Montecito Rehabilitation in Mesa AZ. Home Instead has provided a caregiver Natalie to spend 2 evening with my son Scott. She is an exceptional caregiver. She has been able to help him talk about the loss of his wife-she is better than any therapist and has such a wonderful relationship with my son. Natalie goes over and beyond what I would expect of a caregiver. She is truly an asset to any organization and my son is extremely happy with the care she gives him.
Recently lost my grandma and she was in in-home hospice for the last couple of weeks. We were exhausted, she was getting up and trying to walk in the middle of the night and was also incontinent. It was a lot for the family. Hospice recommended Home Instead and we hired them for overnights. It was a great decision. I called and they were able to begin that night. The nurses were great. Went in today for a in person interview. Everything started out great and ended up getting the job. The lady that offered me the position started out very nice but because I didn't have my license on my person (mind you I put my license number on the paper for her to run my driving record and I could have went home and emailed her the picture of the right one), she had a nasty attitude towards me that changed the whole interview vibe. I hired Home Instead to care for my 94-year-old father after he left acute rehab for pneumonia. Prior to his setback with pneumonia, he fractured his femur and was working through personal physical therapy. My 90-year-old mother also lives with my father, so finding a personal care giver that will blend with my parents' likings took roughly three weeks till Denise and Aly became their permanent liking.
