I'd like to take the time to celebrate great service. Rose and Sarafina, consistently displayed a level of care and consideration that went beyond the contract agreement. In an industry that is often filled with people that have forgotten the value of genuine care and concern for the other person, Rose and Sarafina lead a team of PSWs that enriched our experience with our aging parents. Would recommend- I was able to go away for a few days and felt very confident with the care. Right from the first contact with the company throughout the process Home Instead was caring and considerate and supportive for all questions. They don't notify you when the house cleaner is not coming. The sent a cleaner, I had to pay someone else to clean after she left. I asked them not to send her back. Today, knock on my door and there was the person, I asked them not to send. Today I took pictures when she left. Didn’t clean the ledge around the bathtub. Didn’t clean the grab bars or shower bench in the bathroom, or the wall tiles. The counter not cleaned properly. Faucet not cleaned and outside the toilet bowl not cleaned. I would highly recommend Home Instead to anyone that is looking for loving and professional in-home care. I cannot say enough good things about Rene, Rose, and all of their healthcare team. Every last one of them. They not only cared for my mother compassionately, but cared for all of US as well! Do not hesitate to give them a call.
A quick review in lieu of a dozen red roses to both Renee and Mary PSW for the very competent thoughtful efficient care both continue to provide. The client LK was being considered for palliative care. HomeInstead.ca prompt effective intervention enabled his return home to enjoy his end days with his dog. The cry of his heart from the hospital was, "I just want to be in my own home, on my couch, watching my own movies, on my own TV with my dog." At 97 what else matters!
