Our family is incredibly grateful to Home Helpers for the care they provided to my mother during her final days at home in hospice. My mother entered hospice on Saturday and sadly passed away on Tuesday. Betsy and her team truly represent the peak of in-home care. Betsy gave a presentation at a meeting I attended and made what can often feel like a sensitive or overwhelming topic, the need for in-home care, feel approachable and understandable. My family is currently navigating a dementia diagnosis with our grandmother, and Betsy took the time to answer a few of my questions with genuine compassion, patience, and care. Our family would very highly recommend Home Helpers. It’s difficult to balance running a business with patient care, especially when the patient is obviously declining and resisting help. The caregivers handled our family, our loved one, the difficult situation with such grace and kindness. They immediately identified which caregivers would fit well with the patient. Knowing they were in the picture to balance out our anxiety and the evolving care picture was so reassuring! Can't say enough good things about them.
