If I can give 0 stars, I would. If you’re a traveler, stay away from this place. They treat travel nurses like trash, they set unrealistic high expectations. Be careful of any place that have barely any full time staff and all travelers and the staff that are working all HATE IT and are actively searching for other full time jobs. There is no way to provide proper patient care because patients will see a different nurse almost every visit. They do not care about the patients, they care about numbers. 11/27/2024 I am a hit-and-run survivor and I have had to use this place twice. I'm still in it. I absolutely love my PT, I absolutely loved my OT, my nurse was amazing and my other PT I had was amazing. I'm not sure how or why people are saying different. I thank you for everything you done. It's much appreciated
When doctor wrote initial order had to keep calling this agency after the order was confirmed 3xs. Nurses were rude and insubordinate.. had to complain to Director of nursing at least 3xs to change nurses. Was told by nurse was being discharged without a 14 day notice but rather a few days notice. Getting mixed messages from this nurse. Nurse goes on vacation and recertification was missed in order to extend my skilled nursing services. Travlelers beware: Very high turnover with MaineHealth Care at Home all up & down the coast. Most of the nurses are travelers because locals won't work for the unrealistic expectations: very high "quota," plus 80-100 miles / day, no administrative or supervisor support. Patient Care suffers greatly.
