All you have to do is walk by Hollywood East Apartments on NE Broadway. Clearly Home Forward is not doing something right....
Yeah I'm about to lose my housing through home forward because nobody answers the phone and nobody calls you back I been calling everyday for a month and they just direct me to shawnda Johnsons answering machine but she don't even work there anymore!
Kicked me out of the Fairfield to gentrify it and refused to provide any relocation assistance.( Like they didn't get millions of federal tax dollars for the project, or lie about all the tenants receiving said assistance).. the apartment itself was ok, apartment management was amazing, but the relocation team speaks louder than anything positive that I could say about my time at the Fairfield. The UNPROFESSIONAL, angry, mad at the world, everyone owes me attitude operator, tells me I'm not involved with their program even though CareOregon paid 6 months of rent assistance to them on my behalf but REFUSES to transfer me to ANYONE who can help answer questions that SHE is obviously NOT INFORMED to answer is unbelievably frustrating! SHE IS NOT THE TYPE OF PERSON TO DO THIS JOB!
LANDLORDS BEWARE. Homeforward rules create boundaries for landlords to collect their dues. They only advise and assist the tenants. As a landlord i regret getting involved with section 8 / home forward. They promise you guarantees then they dont follow through.
