Really don’t deserve any stars. Called to get my heater fixed in Oct. 2025 today is Jan 19th. Went about 3 months with no heat called today to get an update about getting a new heater unit. Maintenance rep said they are waiting on a person to make a decision. WHAT DECISION DO YOU NEED TO MAKE ON ORDERING A NEW HEATING UNIT?! HC property management is terrible. Bad service, and are scammers. Went more than a month without proper AC, charged me an extra month rent after my lease was up, kept my deposit saying the floors were scratched up even though you could clearly see the floors were already scratched before we moved in and then tried to charged me to repair the floors that were were over 10 years old that were in the same condition as when I moved in... this is predatory and a scam. They don't even deserve 1 star, terrible management, rude workers that never seem to know anything and laughs at you when you can't pay rent timely. They never put work orders in to get things fixed and then tries to charge you for it. Lost our rent twice, deposited our rent into others accounts. Beware unless you want eviction notices and threats every day. Picked up our last money order and they laughed at us for it... Very disappointing and disrespectful. I wouldnt wish this on the homeless or even my enemies.
I've rented from them for almost two years, and I've only had one major issue, they did fix it and they are working on resolving the last part of it to my satisfaction. I'm giving them five stars because they have been willing to work with me, and when something comes up, repairs don't usually take too long (the above mentioned issue was an unusual circumstance, not entirely in their control), and they've been professional and courteous. Never rent from this property company. EVER. They’ll seem all great and glorious when you sign your lease but it’s downhill from there. When you write your 30 day notice at the end of the lease, they’ll magically lose it and say you never turned it in. Then they’ll keep your security deposit because you “never turned in your 30 day notice.” Then they’ll turn you into collections saying you never paid.
