Update: I am not familiar with the new ownership and staff of the company. My review was for the previous owners, Yvette and Frank. I am currently looking for senior care for a family member and will be contacting the new owners. Here is my initial review: My family and I are so happy that we found Home Care of Myrtle Beach when we needed help in my mother's final days. Yvette and Frank are very caring and professional. Their staff of caregivers were with us day and night and were extremely compassionate and willing to help ... read more
My wife has used Home Care of MB for almost 2 years since she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We've had 2 long term care associates that have been fantastic to work with. We refer to them as friends who come over to see her. They perform a variety of household chores including running store errands and keep my wife fully engaged.
We found out with short notice that my MIL would be released from rehab and require 24/7 care. We were overwhelmed. Checked a couple of other companies but as soon as we met with Victoria she calmed our nerves. She called me back with in an hour and met with us two hours later. They were able to ensure that we could have care with in three days. My MIL was nervous, understandably, but her care takers have been wonderful. Colleen, Orianna, Colleen L, Wendy and Mable ( just to name a few) all have been very caring and treat he... read more
Home Care of Myrtle Beach has been caring for Mom for nearly 18 months. Yvette and Frank are extremely flexible, caring, and responsible. I ask for a good amount of feedback, and the caregivers do a fine job of providing information about what Mom ate, what she did during the day, etc. The level of communication between Frank/Yvette and me and the caregivers and me is excellent. I'm notified immediately whenever there is a problem or concern. The caregivers make sure Mom checks her glucose level, eats healthy meals, and take... read more
Home Care of Myrtle Beach has given me something I haven’t had in quite a while - Peace of Mind. My father was diagnosed with dementia a few years ago, and his ability to care for himself has slowly deteriorated. We tried another company which hired “independent” caregivers, but too many times I would call his home to find he was alone when someone was supposed to be there. I live 600 miles away and the stress became overwhelming. My experience with Home Care of Myrtle Beach has been very positive. A caregiver is there to pr... read more
