Deadlines fly by without any action from Home Base. They simply subcontract their appraisals, and have NO control over the appraiser. When the appraiser isn't responding timely or performing her duties, they have no recourse, and the customer is left in the lurch. I cannot recommend them at all.

I looked up your file, and it appears the report is late to be delivered from the appraisers estimated delivery date of September 22nd. Requested an AVM report and was provided an automated estimate on my home market value that was $140K less than an AVM report from 2 months ago. In addition, comps pulled were from 13 miles away and in a different city than where I live. One of the comps used in my neighborhood was a foreclosure home, which was not in the same category as my home. Very disappointed in this auto gathering process, was a waste of money. I do not recommend this service.

These products do not replace a full appraisal report which is recommended to get a fully accurate valuation on a home. These instead are in place to give people an idea of where their homes are valued for very low cost based on current comparables in the market and giving you a ranged valuation.
