Poor customer service, poor communication, no responsibility for damages they cause, and they send out personal who can not speak English. Before you start your project with Home Depot maksure this is not the contractor that they will use. I was glad to hear from a Home Depot rep say they are phasing this company out due to the vast amount of complaints.
Terrible experience from start to finish. A 2 day job for laminate flooring install turned into 16 days, and then I had to bring them back for warranty work because their caulking and finishing was amateur. After removing the old flooring on day one, the installer said he could not work anymore until I sanded all the subfloor. I asked if he could do it and he said no, then left after only working 2 hours that day. I had to go buy a belt sander and spend all night sanding the subfloor for my contractor! We ordered carpet from Home Depot and this was the sub contractor used by them to install the carpet. We experienced excellent communication from the folks at Hom Solutions. Once they had our carpet, they were able to schedule to install date quickly. The installers (who were actually a sub contractor of Hom Solutions) did an outstanding job from the initial call to let me know they were on the way to going over the project to determine the best method to be used. We read the reviews and still got hosed, paying $150 for a pre-inspection after we bought flooring from Home Depot. They took the money and said they can't do the job, stair removal and installation because the walls are plastered and it "might" damage them. They are pulling this scam left and right, $150 , $150, $150
First off, Hom Solutions only sent one person to do my flooring install in my great room. He wasn't even capable of moving out the furniture by himself, as was promised by Hom Solutions. But it turned out, he wasn't able to proceed anyway, because my floor was not level and they didn't have the material or manpower to level it (that part is Home Depot's fault bc their measurer did not notice the unevenness so Hom Solutions wasn't prepared for that).
