Holyoke Sporting Goods was started in 1928 and stayed in the same location until January 2005. Back in 1928 James Clearly owned the business and rented a storefront in downtown Holyoke. Clearly owned the business until he passed away in 1954. At that time Ernie Brunault bought the business and went on to become a hero to many poor Holyoke. Very good We were looking for a very specific pair of soccer cleats for my daughter. We had phoned around and checked in so many stores but no success until someone told us about Holyoke Sporting Goods. They not only had them but the price was good too and the customers are treated very well.

Hats and various athletic gear available for everyone and particularly for the local schools....personalized attention always there from store staff and you won't get lost in the shuffle you experience at the big chain stores.
