The lack of compassion, sense of urgency, attentiveness, and willingness to support/help with a cancer hospice patients is deplorable. Being short staffed is not an excuse to not attended to a dying hospice patient. If they cannot provide the right level of care then they should not except the case. Shame on everyone in this organization.

I would like to thank joann, my mom's home care nurse for the care she gave my mom. Always came when we needed her. Luis was great as her pt guide. Listened and really spent the time with her trying to get her stronger. Theresa as her aide chatted and was a wonderful visit for my mom when she came once a week. I have to say that the hospice side of the business was quite lacking. My mom had to wait days to get the "paperwork"done so she could get some comfort. I would like to personally thank our home health Nurse Joanne S. who is assigned to visit my mother. On February 11th, my mother received medication from a new Physician who was treating her. He was given a complete listing of all her current medication taken on a daily basis during this visit. Upon my son picking up the medication he prescribed, the Pharmacist included a note on red paper for my mother, asking if she was instructed to stop taking her current dosages of Potassium? The therapists are fantastic, but obviously there has been a change in management because they never called to schedule the initial evaluation, and as far as getting a home aide to assist in personal hygiene; forget it ! I'm going to call Medicare to see if they can recommend another company, because they never show up.
