Michelle is AWESOME!!! I came to Holy Cross nervous for an US Biopsy.. Michelle came to get me from the lobby, very friendly. She brought me to the room, explained the ENTIRE procedure, answered and questions, and made sure I was comfortable before she started. She explained everything she was doing (so knowledgeable) which made me so calm, explained the process again, brought the doctor in and it was honestly EXACTLY how she described it. Usually I am a big fan of Holy Cross, but the Women's Center here is seriously missing the mark. Had a mammogram on 12/6 and still no results. I'm waiting for Jan 5 to dawn to file an MQSA complaint. I will never get another mammogram here. Additionally, unlike the hospital, there is no way to contact anyone about the delay. I had to call the main number for medical records at the hospital and was told that they are very, very behind on reading mammograms. They should consider deploying AI.
New MRI machine was so impressive! First time experience with a visor and headset that projected a video of a relaxing day of boating for me to watch, which basically makes the ceiling of the machine 'go away'. I've had plenty of MRI's, and this time it was such a pleasant surprise. The team that assisted me was excellent. Tamara A. checked me in, Gina S was the RN in the MRI department and Stephen proceeded with the MRI setup and completion with the actual MRI.
