There is nothing in this world that prepares you for the experience of having your child in the NICU. I'm writing this after I've processed this experience for over a year. I can honestly say that if I had to have a baby in NICU again, I would pray that we didn't end up in this NICU again, and here's why: The main nurse was a training nurse who was more interested in training her student nurses and showing them the processes than helping my babies get out of NICU. The main nurse was not interested in getting the twins to breastfeed. She wasn't even interested in them trying bottles. If I was there she made a better effort to... read more
Being in the NICU with my son was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do ... Im so lucky that the wonderful nurses at peace health were so great and helped me learn to take care of a premie baby and prepare me for when I brought him home! Thankyou
