7th July 2025 admitted for angiogram and some pressure testing. Lady that admitted me was very kind considerate and explained everything. Went through to the waiting area where RAF and his mates look after me and we talked about rescue cats. I met my cardiologist and he did some amazing work and all went exceptionally well and I do declare he’s a magician 🪄. Nursing staff throughout fantastic. Shared room. Was great to hear the news about Erin Patterson, it was like the whole hospital 🏥 were speaking about her. 5/5
Yes totally agreed to the negative comments here. Some nurses are unprofessional.very loud ! no empathy towards the patients. I was there with my aunt some time ago and no one seem to care or ask her how feel or whether or not we need a wheelchair whatsoever! She was actually in pain but no one was kind enough to lend us a helping hand ! Everything was slow! Nurses looked either overly stressed or busy! Someone mentioned shot of staff. My experience in this ED was beyond belief, seen by two so called clinicians who had made their mind up that I was ether a criminal or a junkie asking me about my tattoos and why I have no teeth. Not trauma informed, no understanding of what unconscious bias is they made me feel subhuman. I work in community services and we work hard to stop stigma and discrimination, these two doctors need to be educated. The nursing staff and admin people were amazing beautiful people.
Do not go to this hospital!! The ER doctors there judge you the minute you walk in and care more about money than the welfare of their patients. My Father was treated terribly by one particular male doctor last night. Boy I wish I knew his name! Asking my dad stupid questions about his tattoos and appearance, like that matters! I really hope this hospital reads these reviews. Shame on them and shame on that Male doctor.
I want to take a moment to recognize Rhonda, the admissions staff member, whose service was outstanding from start to finish. She treated every patient and their family members with incredible compassion and care, providing reassurance and making sure they knew they were in good hands. Rhonda truly exemplifies what patient-centered service should look like. However, what I witnessed while sitting in the waiting room was absolutely unacceptable.
