In the past, I would have given this place a 5. I have always talked positively about my experiences here. All but once before today, my technicians have been young and very professional. Today my tech was a little older and not professional at all. She carried on a conversation the entire time with any tech that was nearby. They of course seemed reluctant to constantly talk. David is the best nail technician. I love the care they take to try to keep everyone safe.
I have been going to Hollywood nails and spa for the past year. My faithful attendance is mostly due to convenience and familiarity. From the very beginning, I have noticed that when I go in and peruse their polish options, there is an employee standing extremely close to me watching me every move. I have never witnessed them do this to any other customer that is not of the African diaspora... My husband surprised me about a year ago with a mani and pedicure. I loved this place! The techs were nice. The chairs OMG were just great! They did a pretty good job with the mani and pedicure also. I also got my eyebrows waxed. This year for my birthday he was going to surprise me at a "Spa" but something happened to my reservation so I ended up back here at Hollywood! Amazing! I love this place! The salon is wonderfully decorated, very calming and soothing, they have satellite TV, refreshments and wonderful pedicure massage chairs. The quality of their work is great, and it's at a great price.
