rancid oil – The food -- disgusting. They obviously don't change their oil in the deep fryer enough. The egg rolls were unedible. Much better Chinese is available in the region.
I will NEVER eat here again – I paid over $10 for one a la carte item (orange chicken) and steamed rice. This is expensive even for a Chinese restaurant although not unreasonable if you get a lot in return (I didn't). They packed my item in a styrofoam to-go box. There was so pitifully little it didn't even cover the bottom. There was also a tiny box of steamed rice. Several minutes passed before anyone even came up to me to ask if I had been helped. Yummy Dumplings! – This was one of my favorites in the Berkeley area - and had yummy steamed dumplings. The food itself was very good, too - although not spectacular. Modest prices (back in 1994 anyway...)
