By having a staff that cares about the residents like the last manager did. I sent the former manager a video of the current state of the laundry room. She was very angry. She had kept it tidy because she cared about us. The current one says "it is in your lease that it's the resident's responsibility to clean the laundry room. (sitting all day at the desk playing on the internet).
The apartment was filthy when we moved in. Thongs were found sitting right next to the washer, burnt food in the oven and drawer, and dirty cabinets. Our dryer didn't work upon moving in, even though our apartment was supposed to come with it. They replaced it just to have the new one have a fire inside the vent. When we called, they said we would have to rent one for an extra fee and that they would not be covering it.
