Moved to NC 3 years ago and knew we needed a pediatrician. We travel back once a year to see our old pediatrician to continue care for or son but we knew it was time to switch to someone in state. Now, our pediatrician back home was absolutely amazing. So it took us a good 6 months to research a ped in NC. I had really high expectations for this practice based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, our experiences have been disappointing. Each time we've visited the Apex location, the staff has come across as unfriendly, and the doctors didn't seem particularly thorough. During a recent sick visit for my child, the doctor tested for flu and strep—both came back negative. I loved the pediatrician that used to work there but she left and a new PA came that was not great, I assume she’s still there. Usually when a doctor leaves the staff will inform you, otherwise it’s known as “patient abandonment,”. Anyways about a year ago my 18mo old son and I were in a VERY bad accident where someone going 75mph plowed into us on the highway, we went over the guardrail, down a 40ft embankment, hit a tree and flipped over.
