No hot water for the past 6 weeks in the morning so I can’t shower before work. They sent a letter to have the issue addressed immediately. We only get hot water certain times of the day. My keys, sunglasses, and husbands wedding ring had been stolen from our unit. Contractor came in to exterminate our unit. And my personal valuables are gone. I now have to make a police report, because the building management is apparently not liable for this.
Are you looking to rent here? RUN AWAY!! The ownership/management put up a good front, but once they get you signed there is nothing but shady stuff that goes on. Adding charges without providing any invoices, not fixing issues immediately, double-charging, hot water not working several times in the last 6 months (for days at a time), the water was completely out for some time (no compensation to the tenants mind you for any of this). I had a great experience touring this apartment building! I was offered a one-bedroom unit, and from the moment I walked in, the staff made the whole process smooth and welcoming. Everyone I interacted with was kind, professional, and incredibly helpful—answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable. The building itself was clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere felt peaceful and safe. It's clear they care about their residents. I’m excited about the opportunity to live here!
My first ever apartment when I move to Calgary and boy was the staff so supportive in making the process easy. Very professional staff. Great building never had any issues. Spectacular view. Very accessible to nearby grocery/ walmart, mcdonalds etc. Definitely recommend these apartments. Its also very very close to transit/ C Train and Uni of Calgary.
I've had a great experience living at Holly Acres Apartments. The management is responsive, the amenities are well-maintained, and the community is friendly. The staff is always helpful, maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the property is clean and well-kept. Highly recommend!
