Horrible company. Owner has no ethics and wouldn’t show up to do the appraisal then cancelled when he was contacted about doing the appraisal once again after three weeks.

This company is a joke. They like to play with peoples’ lives. They use comps that don’t even make sense, even when you give them a comp of a house basically identical in terms of sf and quality, 1 year older in a less attractive neighborhood that was 135K more than the value they gave my house. They wouldn’t even use it. They gave 0 value for my 4 year hold vs a 40 year old home. They gave $12/sf for a 2700 sf walkout basement. Completed an appraisal without ever performing the appraisal. Could not gain access to property so instead of calling or communicating with anyone, just never called. So by deadline everyone is waiting for the appraisal and wondering what's going on. All the mean while my mother is in the hospital recovering from getting hit by a drunk driver. The guy is extremely unprofessional, not trustworthy, and a liar. Stay far far away from Hollis Appraisal!

Not a reputable business at all! This is NOT a company you want to use! The first red flag is their phone is disconnected. Next, they performed an appraisal of my property and never even got of the vehicle. When I purchased this property three (3) years ago, it had two (2) bedrooms, two (2) baths with window unit cooling and gas wall unit heating.
