Hollin Hall Variety Store This variety store is quaint for the wonderful selection of items you can buy or view from candy to toys, to sewing items,cards, kitchenware, crafts, or knickknacks! If noone else has it, check the Variety Store! Before I lived here this store was on my list of places to go everytime I visited the area. It became a favorite for my children and soon I will be taking my grandchildren there. If you want to step back in time to the days of the five and dime, this is the place to go.
It's been here for a very long time This store knows how to meet your craft need. I have fond memories of when I was little and behaved myself, I'd get a string of licorice. The clerks are very helpful in every area... sowing, new ideas and making Christmas items for the tree or home. No big retail can give such wonderful service and very personable.
Great local business with lots of odds and ends The name of the store says it all - Variety. They have a little bit of everything from kitchen to fabrics, decorations, party supplies and more. Also since it is an independant store the customer service is friendly and personal. Just a wonderful local business.
Outstanding This is the most kick A$$ store...My grandmother used to take me there, and my aunt's would get my gifts from there...I take my daughter there and she has a ball just walking through...Sighs...The prices are so worth it! Memory lane is the best...
Great memories and more to come... The Variety Store is great. As with other reviews, I remember going there when I was a child and I look forward to taking my own children there! Service is always good and they have the wide "variety" of items you need. Always on my list to find that perfect item.
A local tradition in Hollin Hall I first bought candy at the variety store when I was a very small child. It is probably the first store I ever shopped in. In addition to the candy aisle, they have all kinds of crafts and holiday goods.
high prices This store has many different things from candy to purses and bags! If you are looking for a gift and dont have much time to look this is the place you will find almost any kind of gift for anyone! The prices are a bit high here but this store has many different items to choose from!
Love this Store! This store is fantastic! Variety says it all. You can find just about anything in this store from hair products to candy to toys to yarn. Although the prices are kinda high, you can rest assured that you will find exactly what you are looking for here. I would recommend this store to anyone. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
