I had my wedding set appraised for insurance purposes and my ring has never looked better! Affordable and professional!
So let me get this straight, they are going to charge me for the original service I asked for, then in the process further damage my jewelry and risk losing stones, then charge me extra for their incompetency. Sounds like a scam artist if I ever heard one. No thank you. Zales or Kay can size a ring at a flat rate and I don’t have to deal with snooty sales ladies who don’t know anything about jewelry and just work there to support their own discount needs.
We went in to get my husband's wedding ring buffed down due to rough spurs that had formed on the steel over time. Evan (sp?) helped us and she took the ring back right away to get it done. While the jeweler was working on his ring, I asked her to look at a ring I had been given years ago to see whether it was a glass "stone" or a gem. She took it to the back and when she brought it back up, it was BEAUTIFUL! She had cleaned it and I had never seen it look like that.
