Doc Hollander performed surgery on me when I was 23 and he was still cutting his teeth. The 30+ years follow up have always been good. No one likes the elbows on the table, but he is compassionate. He does get loud and other people can hear the conversation ( at least 1/2), but there isn't a better man on the planet that is doing what he is doing. He saved my life when I was 23 and I'll never forget it.
Dr. Hollander looks out for his patients. He never does anything that will not benefit the patient.
Some years ago I had the experience of interviewing a number of physicians across the United States who happened to have had trained under Dr. Hollander at Beaumont Hospital. Every one of them spoke of him with such respect and admiration. He has been my urologist ever since and has taken care of a number rather complex problems including a nosocomial infection I acquired at another institution.
Dr. Hollander is awesome! Very thorough. Saved my life. Would recommend him to anyone!
Pretty rude, like I was interrupting his day. When I tried to tell him my past history, he interrupted, I don't care. One visit and I already made up my mind he is NOT the doctor for me!
