My partner and I were buying my first home and needed an inspection done. I have grown up with Mr. Holland's son and have known their family for 6+ years. Initially he is very communicative when trying to schedule the inspection seeming like he wanted to get me right in. He advised he was charging us an extra $50 for the crawl space, which he later advised was closed off and not accessible yet still charged us. After I paid him, impossible to reach. I used Holland as a buyer and he did a decent job mostly, but completely missed inspecting a non-functional gas fireplace which had obvious damage on closer inspection and would not turn on. As a seller, I was able to witness a much more professional inspection. Would not use again.

Prior to purchasing a house a little more than a year ago, my realtor brought Holland Home Consultants in to inspect the house for mold. I was told there was black mold in the master closet in the ceiling. There was no test or swab done, nor was it offered. I bought the house. It was Stachybotrys.

Sadly, I concur with Mat below. The inspection went decently smooth, but service after the inspection on the back and forth has been very poor to the point where I asked for a copy of my 4pt inspection for insurance purposes and have gotten no response. Stay away from this poor customer service.

Inspection was great. However, once we paid for the inspection, the level of service went downhill. Inspection report was not delivered on time. Had to follow up multiple times to get the report and almost missed our Agreement of Sale deadline. Would not recommend.
