I found the entire situation very invalidating. Doctors were very judgmental and my daughter still struggles with memories of the experiences there. Specifically with Dr. Orosino. Will not go into details but to put it mildly it was over two years ago and the experience still sits in my mind.
We had the greatest therapist, tech support was amazing. But when we had issues where the school violated our child’s human rights they 100% took the schools side and did not support our child. The school needed so much more AAC training and Holland Bloorview released our son to wolves without reservation. We can never forgive them for that. They have a process you can request with your child’s records called a lockbox. I would definitely look into that.
This place is amazing and so good for special needs kids. The staff are great. My son is autistic goes here for his dentist visits.
