I was initially skeptical about chiropractic care, but Dr. John was recommended to me as something to try before surgery. A routine blood test ordered by Dr. Gutierrez during an annual exam revealed very high cholesterol level. Dr. Gurierrez insisted that I get a non-standard blood calcium test which showed a result that was off the charts. Subsequent stress tests by a cardiologist showed my "widow-maker" artery was 80% blocked requiring immediate angioplasty. Without Dr. Gurierrez's outside-of-the-box thinking, my condition would have continued to worsen, and my life expectancy would have likely been significantly impacted.
