Melissa is thorough, understanding, and caring— I appreciate her ability to make me feel heard while still challenging me to reach realistic goals. She creates an inviting nonjudgmental space that helps with the process. Even in passing all the counselors here have been very warm and welcoming.

Melissa is very passionate about her work with couples. She has taught several workshops in the community and is very well versed in skills and techniques that can be helpful to any relationship, whether between co-parents, coworkers, partners, friends, etc. Melissa has worked with a variety of populations from couples to individuals and families dealing with severe and persistent mental illness. She has a calming presence and provides a safe space to clients of all backgrounds and experiences.
