Can't really recommend the Holiday Inn. The room is present nicely, the staff and friendly and helpful and the bathroom has a rain maker which is about all I can say positively. The bed leaves a lot to be desired every morning I wake up with significant back pain, my colleagues is experiencing the same issue as well. The shower drain is raised above to tiles so the water can't actually drain. The walls have minimal sound proofing so if you're lucky enough to have loud guest like I was during my stay good luck sleeping befor... read more

Clean modern room. Central location. Hair conditioner dispenser was broken. No black tea bags supplied. Check in good. On check out no one was at reception whilst multiple people wanted to check out and in. Phone was ringing out with no voicemail. After some time I located a cleaner on the 4th floor and they were kind enough to write messages to reception and take our keys. One customer was trying to check in and wanting to know where to park and left saying she would find a room elsewhere and cancel her booking. By the time... read more

We are a family of 3 adults and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at IHG Townsville over the weekend. Our queen suite room is spacious, clean and tidy with comfortable beds and a large TV screen. The room layout is great with an inner bedroom plus the bathroom has a separate toilet. The suite is a corner room with front room street facing and the inner room on the side of hotel. Hotel is centrally located and walking distance to eateries, shops and Woolworths supermarket is right next door. Bistro downstairs serves great meals ... read more

What a pleasant surprise to find such a fantastic Holiday Inn in Townsville! The hotel is beautifully renovated, with a stylish, modern design and a great atmosphere. The reception staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, the location is excellent, and the restaurant was fantastic. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Townsville!
