This hotel has been switched over to Wyndham… Run don’t walk it is horrible. I wasn’t familiar with the Lake Charles area so I searched and my experience was horrible. I requested a pull out bed, the mattress was filthy. When I pointed it out we were switched to another room. But the receptions were rude and very unprofessional. The hotel lobby was hotter than outside. The rooms are old and outdated and reek of mold and mildew. I hope on my next trip this place is closed down.
Stayed at the holiday Inn south for 3 days. Outside, lobby, & pool area was nice. No complementary breakfast offered at this location. Have to pay for breakfast. The rooms are the biggest issue here. It needs a major pip/overhaul on all floors. the rooms were musty when walking in. AC couldnt keep up even though it showed set to 60F. Beds are from the late 2000's, & so uncomfortable even after asking for a mattress topper. For the price of the room per night, it was a big dissappointment.
