We enjoyed our stay at Forest Park Hotel overall. The room was comfortable and the location was convenient for exploring Jasper. The problem was how the renovation discount was handled afterward. During our stay, the pool and hot tub were unavailable because of renovations, so we had to use the facilities at the neighboring Marmot Lodge. Not a very safe place for kids and dirty rooms
Attended a family reunion. Decided to get something close. Decided on this hotel. Room was, clean. But it had roaches. About 4-6 of them on the night stand. I returned with take out, set my food on the table, turned on the light and a bunch scattered 🤢
I have stayed here several times to visit Barnes hospital. Never had a problem ,rooms always clean , no bed bugs like the other reviews mention. I just with they had some sort of breakfast, that's why I only gave 4 stars. But there are many places to eat close by.
You really can’t beat the location of this hotel, especially if you’re visiting Forest Park—it’s less than 10 minutes away. The only issue we encountered was with the room. The remote thermostat wasn't working, requiring us to control the AC manually, and the room lacked complimentary dental kits (toothbrush/toothpaste).
