We travel yearly from California to Montana and have stayed at many hotels in the Salt Lake City area. This Holiday Inn far surpasses anything in the area. The hotel is clean and convenient. Alyssa at check in was very sweet and helpful. And it is a must to eat in the bar and grill!! Food was absolutely delicious. We had the wings, margarita flatbread and a side salad. Perfect!! No need to travel to an outside restaurant to eat. We will definitely stay here again.
Best hotel the hot tub is 24 hours.
My biggest grievance, is being woken up both days of our stay at 6 a.m. by a fire alarm going off. Thankfully they were false alarms each time; however, it was disturbing enough to ensure you can't go back to sleep and created a rough start to a day of traveling. Other than that, the hotel is pleasant.
We were on a road trip from WA to TX and South Jordan, UT was our first overnight rest stop. We checked in late around 8 or 9pm. We were supposed to leave UT at 03:00am but decided to stay a little longer to eat a good breakfast. I must of read the amenities wrong and thought a free breakfast was included. Unfortunately, it wasn't but your front desk agent Carlos was very understanding and knew we were going back on the road heading to TX. He was so kind and gave us complimentary breakfast.
