Amazing how different today’s experience in Orlando was compared to Thursday night at the Panama City Holiday Inn Express. Had great expectations after staying in Panama City- the Orlando location was dirty, staff were more occupied on their phones than helping customers at front desk. Breakfast was a huge disappointment, most of the items were empty at 8am. You didn’t have to pay for parking in Panama City but had to pay $14 to self park in Orlando. Nice folks, all good. Spent the night before starting on our road trip to Mexico! Well rested.
When you pay $240+ a night for a holiday inn Express mainly because of the shuttle from the airport it should show up without having to call back 4 times. The shuttle is shared with another nearby hotel and is not controlled by the people at the desk. After an hour and fifteen minutes of being lied to about "10 more minutes", they still refused to pay for the ten minute cab ride. I won't waste my money here again. This hotel is a joke as a park and fly. There is one small shuttle per hour that you can't get on because it's always full. We, and many other people when we were there ended up having to Uber or take a taxi.
