Overall good place to stay. The breakfast is pretty good. Lots of parking. The internet is a bit slow but it works.
Customer service is non existing…. Front desk girl was very rude. She was on the phone… on FaceTime with someone instead of working. During my check in experience she never looked me in my face. Was on the phone the entire time talking about me and my reservation instead of asking me questions. We are utility power workers staying here to keep the power on during the ice storm. 4 out of 5 nights my room temperature shot to 80 degrees when set at 68. Apparently you don't control your own temperature, front desk saying " I'll change your temp"
I can’t say enough good things about this Holiday Inn express location. My son lives in town and occasionally we need somewhere to stay. I have stayed twice both times I’ve been exceptional. The staff are very welcoming and polite and make you feel like home even when I had to leave before the doors were unlocked the next morning one of the staff was preparing coffee for the lobby and was so polite there are hotels closer to my son‘s house, but I will always stay at this one if I need a hotel in Carrollton.
