Been traveling for work for 10 years and always stay at holiday inn express. This location here is BY FAR the rudest group of workers I've ever seen. The kitchen staff is a disgrace
I was in town for training. Last few days were pretty tough physically, but Yuni was wonderful and put a smile on my face. What a great person at your front desk representing your company! Thanks Yuni and remaining staff for making my stay pleasant.
I absolutely love this hotel. It is close to Emory where we go for infusions every 14 days. Yumi at the front desk is an absolute ray of sunshine. I feel so special every time we go there as she remembers us immediately and makes sure we are well taken care of. The breakfast is fantastic and a gentleman named Michael is so attentive and helpful all through the breakfast service. Kudos to those wonderful employees that make us feel like we are VIP's.
It was a nice hotel, very well cleaned and had pretty modern rooms. There were no coffee makers in the rooms for sustainability reasons, which i get, but it was a big difference. Also the location was great because it was neat the fancier part of Decatur with lots of rich architecture and nice houses. It was located near an Emory hospital so there were some loud sirens both nights I stayed there. Overall though it was a good place to stay. The hot free breakfast each morning was filling.
This has been a beautiful experience, especially since I came here to celebrate my birthday! Yuni (I believe is her name), while I may or may not have spelled her name correctly, I’ll NEVER forget how welcoming and kind she was upon my arrival AND over the phone. That’s rare. Lol And Michael was so attentive at the breakfast bar. The level of service here is clearly a priority amongst the team and it shows. Although I haven’t checked out, I can already share that this has been a beautiful experience. Thank you all so much!
