Hotel is older with some updating. The reception area and rooms are spacious and well kept. Rooms have coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Bathroom is very small but has the sink in separate area. Property is on a a hillside so there are stairs and slopes. The elevator area in second building is not very welcoming and ice machine is in the underground parking/ laundry area, also not convenient.

Way to go Holiday Inn Solvang! 15 minutes into pool time my two year old is holding the under water pool light in his hands! One hour later, the pool is still open, and the electrical is STILL exposed! When I again, called the front desk, I was informed that maintenance had been notified, but was at lunch, and the front desk had been too busy to close the pool, but had done their due diligence.
Very nice hotel, very clean and quiet, I would recommend it.
