Recently had large number of rooms reserved and hope to see on site restaurant /bar but some how closed down (disappointed). Many rooms on this cold weather not able to keep consistent temperature, seems like half of our group got sick(can’t fully say but were hot/cold constant all night long). Employee seems very nice and respectful but looks of this hotel age to actual were very disappointed, I think few fix like restaurant will bring more business personal and can be valued. Just know there is no restaurant here. It is closed permanently but they are building a new one out front but that's a ways out yet. They did say they had breakfast but I didn't try it out.

I usually love IHG hotels but I wouldn’t stay here again. It says on the website that there is construction is going on, that was originally fine with me as I was only staying for one night. Then you actually drive into the hotel where you are greeted by a gravel road with unknown objects in the road which can mess up your tires if not careful. If you’re considering staying at Holiday Inn Detroit Livonia, save yourself the headache and book literally anywhere else. My stay was a masterclass in how a hotel can fail its guests on every level. Filthy rooms: Housekeeping was practically nonexistent. Sheets weren’t changed, trash piled up, and vacuuming never happened. Even basic items like coffee cups had to be begged for at the front desk.
