One of the oldest and most worn down Holiday Inns I have stayed in. I love IHG hotels, but this was a disappointment. It is badly in need of renovations. The carpet is worn, the bathroom ceiling starting to grey moldy, the television picture grainy and lined. The chair looks so stained my wife didn't want to even put outr coats on it. The bathroom tile is old and chipped and the grout coming loose. At best it is extremely dated. For a hotel on the Plaza in particular this was disappointing. They were delightful and helpful. They also went out of their way to accommodate some special requests. And the price was right.
