Check-in took at least 25 minutes. When it was finally our turn, the receptionist told us to "go around the corner and talk to somebody else to get your keys." We thought it was weird and joked that it couldn't be a timeshare sales pitch—but it was. The man handling the keys was incredibly loud, intrusive, and aggressive about the timeshare. ​Once we finally rejected the pitch and got our keys, we headed to our tower. Only bad thing is rooms have no a/c! You can request for a mini split type plug in to be put. View is beautiful we stayed in plaza! About 20 minutes from South Lake Tahoe!

This is the third bad experience and strike as an owner at the Ridge Lake Tahoe. The hot tubs are always out of order and this is especially very inconvenient when I would like to relax and on vacation. The hotel is still very run down and out dated. I also got stuck in a broken elevator for 2+ hours. And now I made an incorrect reservation for a date in 2027 and called two days later and they wanted to nickel and dime me for a modification charge of $19 on top of the $1900 a year I pay for hoa dues.
