Front desk was super nice. Beds were clean, floors not so much. Could use a good vacuum. Bathroom was clean. The halls and stairway smelled pretty bad. Pool walkway/floor could used a good pressure washing. Overall wasn't terrible.

Enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn on our recent visit to Boone. We were really tired from driving when we arrived and appreciated the front desk person’s (Madelin) friendly attitude and helpfulness. Also, shout out to housekeeping for doing a great job. Those people do not get enough credit.

The room I got was trash. Building needs updating. Hallway smelt like smoke. Couldn’t take shower before bed because there was no hot water. I walk in to the room with dirty floor, torn carpet, cluttered furniture, broken table, hair in the toilet bowl and tub, water not draining fast enough in the tub, bed sheets had a weird sticky feel etc,. Restaurant attendant was unfriendly, manager was unfriendly, the table and chairs in the restaurant were cheap. This is a one star hotel mascarading as Holiday Inn. Very low standard. ... read more
