May 2026 in Boone for 50th reunion of KA Fraternity. Since our last stay at University Holiday Inn the building has been updated and appears to have management change. Walking through doors immediately evident. Every issue I detailed in previous review had been resolved. We probably were in same room, shower is now fantastic. My previous review is below. In morning, you only get bad coffee free. Breakfast available but rather expensive. Could be cleaner, when I stayed.
The staff was super nice. The rooms were a little dated. It did have a pool and hot tub. Very close to the university and restaurants.
The room was clean but the giving a 3/5 because the beds were very uncomfortable. As an FYI, there's no complimentary breakfast. But the service desk/check-in staff were very friendly and personable.
