We visited for the first time this year and I was surprisingly underwhelmed. I would recommend the light festival at the NMB Recreation Complex and Night of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens instead. I was prepared to wait in traffic to get into the event, but with traffic being allowed to enter from both directions, it took well over an hour to make it 2 miles. I loved all the wonderful displays. My favorite was the poinsettia display. Gets better and better every year.
Loved the lights. Unfortunately we were unable to park in any of the three lots and were not able to visit santa land and winter wonderland. Disappointed children. Make more stops ad parking. Maybe get some port a lets. We went Round twice. No luck
Awesome family activity!The line to enter was very long on Saturday, visiting during the week may be better to avoid that issue. I toasted the biggest marshmallows I have ever seen and loved the light show set to music!
This has got to be one of the best displays I've been to. Large decorated walk through area, sand sculptures, activities, shops, snack food, and when you finish with all that a super decorated drive through area! Well worth the 20 dollar a car load price tag. And dont forget to buy a set of the Christmas 3d glasses in the stores there. Will be the best 2.00 you will spend to further keep the kids (and the kids at heart) entertained. I don't want to spoil their magical powers,but they are very cool!
