We were totally surprised and overwhelmed at how well this was done. We met family friends there and spent a couple hours roaming the park, visiting the gift shop, roasting marshmallows and riding the train around the park. Our two year old granddaughter walked the park like she was on a mission...enjoying the light displays and trying to find the train depot! (Last thing we did!) Our first time to Charleston and to stay at James Island Campground. What a huge bonus to be able to see the lights every night for 6 nights. The campground is a 5 + 5...and the lights are the icing on the cake. Amazing...beautiful. A must see on our list for next year.

This is a family tradition and nobody should miss it! Awesome lights and food Plus Santa Claus! Highly recommended.
Completely worth the 2 hour ride from home!!! My kids had soooo much fun.
