Quiet Housing for Disabled and Seniors. No children, Residents over 55 or Disabled for the most part. Programs for elderly and disabled. Public transportation nearby. Close to Shopping with Trader Joe's next door and Walgreens within a block or so. Excellent to completely incompetent Managers most of the time. The community garden has been beautifully maintained in that all the flowers and herbs and veggies have been growing really well!! For a Home Forward community it has less drama, crime or transient issues compared to most of Portlands low income housing! I really wish more if these newer low income places going up would offer community garden spots! No tree canopy offering any shade for the poor-Holgate House is pretty lucky.
