RecommendedWe have vacationed there for probably 20 years. Love Holden Beach better than any beach on the east coast. People are so friendly and welcoming. The Town is so clean and inviting. Favorite place to be except my home state of West Virginia.

We love the family atmosphere and the the fact that there are no high rises or commercial businesses on the island. Our whole family loves the laid back feeling and the peacefulness it brings!
RecommendedI have grown up coming here every summer and when I got married I introduced my husband and his children to Holden Beach!!! This week they were able to witness turtles hatching!!!! We love it so much here we plan to move in when our youngest graduates in 4 years!!! There is no better family beach!!!

Recommended30 years worth of vacations at Holden Beach and I will never get tired of coming! 2019 was not the best year for us, as we chose a different rental house and it was in awful condition. The beach is safe, not crowded, and we even got to see a turtle nest boil this year!
