I was there last wk.. Sat down with my husband and never got a menu or service.. Three other groups came in after us and received service.. We finally walked out and nobody said anything... Thanks to Cootie Browns for saving the day

Wings was suppose to be mild bbq. They weren't they used buffalo sauce that set my mouth on fire... had a baked potato with sour cream and butter there was only a teaspoon of sour cream on it and no butter that I saw... not my favorite bbq place at all..
Hokie Smokies is our favorite place to eat, in Johnson City. Just one problem. Our first order was a brisket sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich and they are so good we can't bring ourselves to order anything different on the menu! Yum!!
Love the chance to eat here. Brisket is as good as Texas brisket, and the staff is friendly.
I waited for over 45 minutes for my food. Considering it was my lunch break I had to ask for my food to go. While sitting there I was never brought a refill on my drink. I purchased a Barbecue sandwich, fries and a drink. The sandwich should have been called a burnt end sandwich as most of the pork on the sandwich still had the burnt ends. It tasted like a electrical fire in my mouth. The fries would have been good if they had stayed hot. Good news is I was able to make two trips on my lunch break today. I went there on my lunch break and after waiting for 45 minutes for my food, I had to ask for it to go. The food would have been good if it would have stayed hot when I got it back to the office five minutes from the restaurant. All I was offered was an apology and an excuse. A co-worker of mine who also went didn't have any sauce in his order.

Had a call in order told 25-30 mins for 2 sandwiches and fries. Waited hour at bar for 2 sandwiches and 2fries. Not doing this again

One of the best beef briskets around. BBQ is good, and if your lucky you may catch them on a weekend when they are doing smoked pork chops. Great service. Eat there once a week.
