This is not a ghost town, people live here! And, going by the multiple "No Trespassing" signs posted on every building it would appear they are tired of uninvited tourists invading their homes.
Lovely old town. Worth the visit.
If you like ghost towns...
Ghost town, with actually a population of 41 residents, according to the entrance sign. I saw only 1 person during my 2 hr stay. Old building, perfect for photography and play with the light. Only 6 miles of unpaved road at the end of road 844. Nice abandoned little play ground, perfect for picnic, under the shadow of old trees.
Great spot for a dose of reality and a trip back in your life.
