Nice cheery bar food was good too
We have enjoyed brunch, lunch, and dinner here at different times, and have always had a good experience. My husband said he had a perfect breakfast burrito and Bloody Mary at Sunday brunch. Another time we ordered half salads for dinner, and with a shared flatbread appetizer, it was just right for a light supper. Relaxed atmosphere and nice location. Would highly recommend!
My wife and I were looking for a quiet restaurant with a healthy foods and tasty beverages. We found the Hideaway to be that and much more. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Romantic atmosphere. A wide variety of tasty foods. This has become our go-to place when we are in Rochester.
the scallop and shrimp risotto was spectacular
Came out to see some comics at Saturday Night Laughs and had fun. Saunt Yubear's slice of office life song was pretty hysterical and relatable. Headliner Michael Terry was also really funny. I arrived late unfortunately so I can't speak for the other acts but from what I saw, great show, great host, and a good time.
First time coming to Saturdays comedy night, super funny. All of the comedians killed it, and the whole audience were respectful. Definitely coming again!
A few of my federal coworkers and I had dinner tonight at the Hideaway. The owner, Max, came over and greeted us, thanking us for the work we are doing. As our dinner was nearing a close, we were told everything was on the house. The food was wonderful, the waitstaff were warm and welcoming, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. What a thoughtful thing for this owner to be doing. Once we are finally receiving a paycheck again, we will most definitely return.
My daughter and I have tried a good number of restaurants in Rochester. At one point during dinner she said I think this is one of the best meals I have ever had. Scallops and greens and veggies. I had to agree. The risotto With shrimp and scallops was fantastic. Tomato soup with artichokes was simply amazing. Great service by our server Kate who greeted us like we were friends. 5 stars out of 5 stars in my book. A fantastic meal. We will be back!❤️
