Often times it's hard to cypher thru the good and the bad of home services companies available online, especially if you are unfamiliar with the town you're trying to locate services in. I had to suffer thru a couple bad ones before I luckily stumbled upon Hofmeyer. These people are fair, honest, and professional. I have now used their services twice and both times they exceeded my expectations. I will recommend Hofmeyer to anyone who asks. A++++++++++
I've used their services twice, once I had to pay and once I did not. Let me explain. First time was moving into a new home, I wanted to get 6 faucets replaced. They did it quickly and cleanly, walkthrough was spot on. No complaints. Where I really have come to appreciate their services was recently we had a question on a recurring smell issue. I needed a hot water heater expansion tank replaced in order to sell my townhome and Hofmeyer was the only company that provided me with a 'cost range' over the phone for this very simple repair. I had contacted 15+ other companies that all required a 'service call' be made before any price could be provided. Of course, the service call alone is $99--which allows for a company to charge an egregious amount for a small repair as you are already on the hook for the service call amount.
