I've been on the board of our building for thirty years and Steve Hoffman has been an incredibly knowledgeable and helpful manager for us--- he knows the laws, he understands the equipment and maintenance issues and he is wonderfully responsive. The shareholders are very happy with the way the building is run and a lot of the credit goes to Hoffman Management.

I am an owner of one of the condo units at 280 Park Ave. South and there are not enough words in the world to describe how truly terrible and incompetent the management of this building has been throughout the past 2 years that I lived here. Steve Hoffman has an extremely poor and rude disposition towards everyone I’ve talked to that rents or owns in this building and has not once accepted accountability or even ever offered a basic apology for all the massive oversights and negligence they have caused. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. You dont rent a place so you need to move next year. They raise rent by 10% every year and no I did not get a covid deal. They raise the rent because they can. My rent has been increased by 20+% in 2 years.
