Inconsistency on Service; Overpriced Food Although the main dining room has a nice atmosphere, the food is overpriced. For instance, the salad bar is $6. Also, the service is spotty. I went there once for lunch and the waitress left before I had finished. She had not even printed out a ticket! I could have just left without paying and no one would have known! Hoffman House Restaurant is great! LOVE IT!! My cousin had her wedding reception there, and it was wonderful. In fact, it was so great, that I will be having my wedding reception there as well this September!

Excellent! Hoffman House has long been known for it's prime rib! Make a reservation though- as the waits can be pretty long! I have attended several parties/gatherings there. The food is excellent from the salad- on and you will not leave disappointed. The location is great, the staff are wonderful and the food is top-notch!
Poor Service Reservations? Why bother, Hoffman House manges reservation system poorly. When I arrived with handicapped person in tow they were still telling people with reservations at 12:30 that it would be 1:45 before they were seated. Food is usually good but definately not worth the trouble of getting it. Workers made no attempt to accomodate handicapped person and had "I don't care attitude" Don't count on reservations here for special occasions.
Hoffman House I have been to the Hoffman House for banquets and for the buffet and just for dinner. They have a nice menu of many entrees. I would say it is all very good. I think the prices are fairly priced.
